Women's Treatment Program The Women's Program at Life Recovery Center is designed for women caught in the grips of addiction and trauma. It is a place where emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical safety is paramount. We have developed a truly integral psychological and spiritual approach to treating the disease of chemical dependency. Our Women’s Program addresses the needs of the whole person; body, mind and spirit.
Our program is designed to address, heal, and give coping skills to women. Our staff understands that women have special needs in treatment settings. We address these needs by creating a safe place where women are allowed to explore who they truly are without the distraction of a co-ed environment. Recent studies show 38-65% of addicted women have suffered physical, sexual, and emotional trauma. 33% of addicted women report they suffered child abuse and that their substance abuse began as an attempt to numb the pain. Life Recovery Center's therapists are highly trained and seasoned professionals. As a staff we stand ready to help our clients heal, find peace, and improve their general quality of life.
